Will the film make my room dark?
Sensaglass film is designed to reduce heat and glare while still allowing natural light through.
The exact light reduction will depend on the film type selected.
Measuring & Ordering
How do I measure my window correctly?
You must measure the glass only — not the frame.
Always measure:
- Width first
- Height second
- In millimetres
We provide a full measuring guide to help you achieve accurate results.
What if I measure incorrectly?
Because Sensaglass film is precision cut to your measurements, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for incorrect sizes supplied.
We strongly recommend double-checking measurements or contacting us for guidance before ordering.
Do you allow cancellations or changes?
Orders can only be changed or cancelled before production begins.
Once cutting has started, the order cannot be amended.
Installation
Is Sensaglass film easy to install?
Yes. Our film is designed for DIY installation.
We provide:
- Step-by-step installation instructions
- Helpful tips
- Customer support if needed
Many customers successfully install the film themselves.
Will there be bubbles after installation?
Small water pockets or a slightly hazy appearance can be normal immediately after installation.
These usually disappear as the film dries.
How long does the film take to dry?
Drying time can vary depending on:
- Temperature
- Sunlight
- Ventilation
This may take several days or longer for full clarity.
Can the film be repositioned during installation?
Yes. While the glass and film are wet, the film can be gently slid into position.
Delivery & Production
How long does my order take?
Orders are typically:
- Precision cut within 3–5 working days after measurement confirmation and payment
- Delivered within a further 3–5 working days after dispatch
Total estimated timeframe: 6–10 working days
Will I receive tracking details?
Yes. Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking details where available.
Returns & Warranty
Can I return custom-cut film?
Due to the made-to-measure nature of our products, we cannot accept returns once the film has been cut and shipped.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
What if my film arrives damaged or faulty?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos.
We will review the issue and arrange a suitable resolution.
General Questions
Will the film damage my windows?
When installed correctly, Sensaglass film is safe for suitable glass types.
If unsure, contact us before ordering.
How do I clean the film?
After the film has fully dried:
- Use mild soapy water
- Use a soft cloth
Avoid abrasive cleaners or scraping the surface.
